Edward Ward, 8th Lord Dudley

     Edward Ward, 8th Baron Dudley was baptised on 20 December 1683.1 He was the son of Hon. William Ward and Frances Dilke.1 He married Diana Howard, daughter of Thomas Howard and Diana Newport, on 9 April 1703.1 He died on 28 March 1704 at age 20.1 He was buried on 5 April 1704. His will was proven (by probate) on 29 March 1704.3
     He succeeded as the 8th Baron Dudley [E., 1440] on 3 August 1701.4 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Ward of Birmingham, co. Warwick [E., 1644] on 3 October 1701.1 His last will was dated 18 January 1703/4.3

     Frances Ward was the daughter of Humble Ward, 1st Baron Ward of Birmingham and Frances Dudley, Baroness Dudley.1 She married Sir William Noel, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Varney Noel, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dixie, on 9 July 1672.1 She died on 13 March 1698.
     Her married name became Noel.

     Sir William Noel, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1642. He was the son of Sir Varney Noel, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dixie.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Margaret Lovelace, daughter of John Lovelace, 2nd Baron Lovelace of Hurley and Anne Wentworth, Baroness Wentworth, on 30 October 1660.2 He married, secondly, Frances Ward, daughter of Humble Ward, 1st Baron Ward of Birmingham and Frances Dudley, Baroness Dudley, on 9 July 1672.1 He died on 23 April 1675.
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Noel, of Kirkby Mallory. He lived at Kirkby Mallory, Leicestershire, EnglandG.

     Frances Noel was baptised on 14 April 1673 at Himley Hall, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 She was born circa April 1673 at Himley Hall, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Sir William Noel, 2nd Bt. and Frances Ward.1 She married, firstly, Ralph Sneyd, son of Ralph Sneyd.1 She married, secondly, Sir Charles Skrimshire before 1714.1 She married, thirdly, Sir John Chester, 4th Bt., son of Sir Anthony Chester, 3rd Bt. and Mary Cranmer, in April 1714.1 She married, fourthly, Charles Adderley, son of Arden Adderley and Mary Draper, after 1726.1 She died in February 1751 at age 77.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 21 January 1752.1
     Her married name became Sneyd.1 From before 1714, her married name became Skrimshire.1 From April 1714, her married name became Chester.1 From after 1726, her married name became Adderley.1 Her last will was dated 24 October 1747.
