     Walter Ogilvy, 1st Lord Ogilvy of Deskford was the son of Alexander Ogilvy and Barbara Ogilvy.2 He married, secondly, Mary Douglas, daughter of William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton and Lady Agnes Leslie, in 1582.3 He died between 6 July 1625 and 14 February 1627.3
     Walter Ogilvy, 1st Lord Ogilvy of Deskford gained the title of 1st Lord Ogilvy of Deskford.
