     Dr. Joseph Hunt married Katharine Sophia Herbert, daughter of Sir John Sheffield, 1st Duke of the County of Buckingham and of Normanby and Frances Stewart, between 1722 and 1726.1 He died on 15 March 1726.1 His will (dated 25 February 1725) was probated on 16 May 1726.1
     Dr. Joseph Hunt graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He was a master on 10 February 1722 at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1

     Thomas Cox was born on 17 August 1737 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.1 He was the son of Joseph Cox and Katharine Sophia Herbert.1 He was baptised on 9 September 1737 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.1 He married Anna Diana Sheffield, daughter of Sir Charles Herbert Sheffield, 1st Bt., on 25 June 1767 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, England.1 He died in 1788.1

     Catherine Sophia Cox was born in 1739.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Cox and Katharine Sophia Herbert.1 She married Lt.-Gen. Francis Grant, son of Sir James Grant of Grant, 6th Bt. and Anne Colquhoun, on 17 March 1763.1 She died on 11 May 1806.1
     From 17 March 1763, her married name became Grant.1
