     Charles Standish Paulet was born in October 1873.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles William Paulet and Susan Amelia Georgina Standish.1 He married Lillian Jane Charlotte Fosbery, daughter of Major William Thomas Exham Fosbery, on 24 October 1901.1 He died on 18 September 1953 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Warwickshire Yeomanry.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was Major and Deputy Director-General of Supply, Ministry of Munitions between 1915 and 1919.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1917.1

     Lillian Jane Charlotte Fosbery was born in 1880.1 She was the daughter of Major William Thomas Exham Fosbery.2 She married Charles Standish Paulet, son of Colonel Charles William Paulet and Susan Amelia Georgina Standish, on 24 October 1901.2 She died on 15 March 1972.1
     Her married name became Paulet.

     Richard Charles Paulet, 17th Marquess of Winchester was born on 8 July 1905.1 He was the son of Charles Standish Paulet and Lillian Jane Charlotte Fosbery.2 He died on 5 March 1968 at age 62, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Fusiliers.1 He succeeded as the 17th Marquess of Winchester [E., 1551] on 28 June 1962.2 He succeeded as the 17th Earl of Wiltshire [E., 1550] on 28 June 1962.2 He succeeded as the 17th Baron St. John [E., 1539] on 28 June 1962.2
