     John Westropp-Odell is the son of Colonel Thomas Odell and Sarah Elizabeth Westropp.1 He married Philadelphia Smijth, daughter of Charles Smijth, on 26 March 1802 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.1
     John Westropp-Odell gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Major Henry Edmund Odell was born in 1788.2 He was the son of Colonel Thomas Odell and Sarah Elizabeth Westropp.1 He married, firstly, Mary Hobson in 1823.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Townsend, daughter of Reverend John Townsend and Alice Warren, on 9 January 1830.3 He died on 18 September 1864 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.3
     Major Henry Edmund Odell gained the rank of Major in the service of the 60th Rifles.2 He lived at Castleconnell, County Limerick, Ireland.3
