     Robert Wolseley Odell was born on 25 November 1837 at Gibraltar.1 He was the son of Major Henry Edmund Odell and Elizabeth Townsend.1 He died on 18 August 1856 at age 18 at Lahore, India.1
     Robert Wolseley Odell gained the rank of Ensign in the service of the 81st Regiment.1
