Major William Monro1

     Major William Monro was the son of Alexander Monro.2 He married Elizabeth Abercromby, daughter of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas, on 14 June 1843 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,3 He died in 1881.2
     He gained the rank of Major in the 79th Highlanders.1

     Charlotte Mary Douglas Monro was the daughter of Major William Monro and Elizabeth Abercromby.2,1 She married Sir James Colquhoun of Luss, 5th Bt., son of Sir James Colquhoun of Luss, 4th Bt. and Jane Abercromby, on 8 December 1875.1 She died on 9 January 1902.1
     From 8 December 1875, her married name became Colquhoun.1

     Constance Janet Sinclair Flora Abercromby Colquhoun was born on 1 September 1884.1 She was the daughter of Sir James Colquhoun of Luss, 5th Bt. and Charlotte Mary Douglas Monro.2 She married Frederick Charles Lockhart Robertson, son of Charles Alexander Lockhart Robertson, on 7 November 1908.1 She died in March 1948 at age 63, leaving issue.1
     From 7 November 1908, her married name became Robertson.

     Mary Garneys was born in 1653.2 She was the daughter of Charles Garneys and Elizabeth Soame.1,2 She married, firstly, William Shipman before 1684.1 She married, secondly, Sir William Dutton Colt, son of George Colt and Elizabeth Dutton, on 20 November 1684.1 She died in 1726.2
     From before 1684, her married name became Shipman.1 From 20 November 1684, her married name became Colt.1
