Garrison, on 28 May 1885.1 He died on 7 April 1936 at age 77, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Forfar and Kincardine Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfar.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Forfar between 1894 and 1895.1

Sir Patrick William Maule Ramsay, son of John William Ramsay, 13th Earl of Dalhousie and Lady Ida Louisa Bennet, on 15 October 1917.1 She died on 5 October 1957 at Estoril, Portugal.1
     From 15 April 1913, her married name became Tower.1 From 15 October 1917, her married name became Ramsay.1
