      Hon. Nicolas Avrion Mitchison usually went by his middle name of Avrion.3 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).1 He was Professor of Zoology at London University, London, England.3 He has two sons and two other daughters.1

     Vere Gosling was the daughter of Ellis Gosling.1 She married George Edward Milnes Monckton-Arundell, 7th Viscount Galway, son of George Edward Arundell Monckton-Arundell, 6th Viscount Galway and Henrietta Maria Milnes, on 24 July 1879.1 She died on 3 January 1921.1
     She was invested as a Lady of Justice, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.J.St.J.).1 From 24 July 1879, her married name became Monckton-Arundell.1 She succeeded to the title of Viscountess Galway on 24 July 1879.
