     Captain Audley Mervyn Archdale was born on 9 June 1825.1 He is the son of Edward Archdall and Matilda Humphrys.1 He married Sybilla Mary Miles, daughter of Philip John Miles and Clarissa Peach, on 2 May 1854.1 He died on 27 February 1893 at age 67.1
     Captain Audley Mervyn Archdale was commissioned in 1844.1 He retired from the military in 1855, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Underdown, Herefordshire, England.1
