     Philip John Miles was born in 1773.2 He was the son of William Miles and Ann Barrow.2,3 He married, firstly, Maria Whetham, daughter of Very Rev. Arthur Whetham, in 1795.3 He married, secondly, Clarissa Peach, daughter of Samuel Peach Peach and Clarissa Partridge, on 11 May 1813.3 He died on 24 March 1845.3
     Philip John Miles held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gloucestershire.3 He lived at Kings Weston, Gloucestershire, England.1 He lived at Leigh Court, Somerset, England.1
