Colonel Alexander Boddam-Whetham was born on 6 July 1806 at Enfield, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Rawson Hart Boddam and Eliza Maria Georgiana Tudor.2 He married Maria Agatha Whetham, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Whetham and Susanna Ann Kington, on 3 June 1841 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.3,2 He died on 29 March 1872 at age 65 at Rome, Italy, from 'Naples fever'.2,4
