Sir John Clarke, 5th Bt. was born circa 1763.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Clarke, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Littel.1 He died on 8 November 1782, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Clarke, of Snailwell, co. Cambridge [E., 1698] on 18 August 1770.1

Sir Arthur Clarke, 6th Bt. was born on 6 February 1715.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Mary Barnardiston.1 He died on 23 May 1806 at age 91, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Clarke, of Snailwell, co. Cambridge [E., 1698] on 8 November 1782.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

Sir Richard Clayton, 1st Bt. was born circa 1745 at Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of John Clayton and Elizabeth Goodwin.1 He married Anne White, daughter of Charles White, in 1780.2 He died on 29 April 1828 at Nantes, FranceG, without male issue.2 His will was proven (by probate) in December 1828.2
He matriculated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 15 April 1763.2 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1771 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He was created 1st Baronet Clayton, of Adlington, co. Lancaster [Great Britain] on 19 May 1774, with a special remainder to his father.1 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple in 1803.2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)2 He held the office of Recorder of Wigan between 1815 and 1828.2 He was British Consul at Nantes.2 He held the office of Constable of Lancaster Castle.2
