     Sir Kenrick Clayton, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir William Clayton, 1st Bt. and Martha Kenrick.2 He married Henrietta Maria Herring, daughter of Henry Herring, before 1740.1 He died on 10 March 1769.1
     Sir Kenrick Clayton, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Clayton, of Marden, co. Surrey [G.B., 1732] on 28 December 1744.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bletchingley between 1754 and 1769.1

     Henrietta Maria Herring was born circa 1709.2 She was the daughter of Henry Herring.1 She married Sir Kenrick Clayton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Clayton, 1st Bt. and Martha Kenrick, before 1740.1 She died on 25 July 1774.3 Her will was probated in August 1774.2
     From before 1740, her married name became Clayton.

     Sir Robert Clayton, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1740.3 He was the son of Sir Kenrick Clayton, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Maria Herring.2 He married Elizabeth Standish, daughter of Frederick Standish and Mary Master, on 1 June 1767.1 He died on 10 May 1799, without issue.1 He was buried at Bletchingley, Surrey, England.3 His will was probated in May 1799.3
     Sir Robert Clayton, 3rd Bt. held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bletchingley between 1768 and 1783.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Clayton, of Marden, co. Surrey [G.B., 1732] on 10 March 1769.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey between November 1783 and 1784.3 In August 1788 he sold the reversion of the Bletchingley estate.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bletchingley between 1790 and 1796.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ilchester between 1796 and 1799.3

     Elizabeth Standish was the daughter of Frederick Standish and Mary Master.2,3 She married Sir Robert Clayton, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Kenrick Clayton, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Maria Herring, on 1 June 1767.1 She died on 27 February 1803.1
     From 1 June 1767, her married name became Clayton.
