Sir Simon Clarke, 1st Bt. was born in 1579. He was the son of Walter Clarke and Elizabeth Edolph.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Alderford, daughter of John Alderford and Elizabeth Dormer.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Hobson, daughter of Thomas Hobson.1 He died circa 1642.1 He was buried at Salford, Warwickshire, England.1
He was created 1st Baronet Clarke, of Salford, co. Warwick [England] on 1 May 1617.1 He supported the cause of King Charles I during the Civil War.2 He was fined £200 during the Civil War for adhering to the King.1 He lived at Newbold Revell, Warwickshire, England.2 He was fined £800 by the sequestrators of estates of Loyalists.2 He lived at Broom Court, Bidford, Warwickshire, England.2 He lived at Salford Priors, Warwickshire, England.2

Sir East George Clayton East, 1st Bt. was born on 9 April 1794.1 He was the son of Sir William Clayton, 4th Bt. and Mary East.2 He married Marianne Frances Bishop, daughter of Charles Bishop, on 20 June 1815.1 He died on 6 March 1851 at age 56.1
