     Emma Jane Lucretia Smith was the daughter of Sebastian Smith.2 She married Sir Gilbert East Gilbert East, 2nd Bt., son of Sir East George Clayton East, 1st Bt. and Marianne Frances Bishop, on 29 January 1845.1 She died on 28 July 1872.1
     From 29 January 1845, her married name became Gilbert East.

Sir Gilbert Augustus Clayton East, 3rd/7th Bt.1

     Sir Gilbert Augustus Clayton East, 3rd/7th Bt. was born on 25 April 1846.1 He was the son of Sir Gilbert East Gilbert East, 2nd Bt. and Emma Jane Lucretia Smith.2 He married Eleanor Theresa Fraser, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Alexander Robert Fraser, on 3 September 1867.1 He died on 26 September 1925 at age 79.1
     He was given the name of Gilbert Augustus Gilbert East at birth.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Clayton East, of Hall Place, Berkshire [U.K., 1838] on 12 August 1866.1 In 1870 his name was legally changed to Gilbert Augustus Clayton East.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Clayton, of Marden, co. Surrey [G.B., 1732] on 7 October 1914.1

     Eleanor Theresa Fraser was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Alexander Robert Fraser.2 She married Sir Gilbert Augustus Clayton East, 3rd/7th Bt., son of Sir Gilbert East Gilbert East, 2nd Bt. and Emma Jane Lucretia Smith, on 3 September 1867.1 She died on 11 July 1924.1
     From 3 September 1867, her married name became Gilbert East.1 From 1870, her married name became Clayton East.1

Sir George Frederick Lancelot Clayton East, 4th/8th Bt.1

     Sir George Frederick Lancelot Clayton East, 4th/8th Bt. was born on 3 September 1872.1 He was the son of Sir Gilbert Augustus Clayton East, 3rd/7th Bt. and Eleanor Theresa Fraser.2 He married Frances Louise Helen Colquhoun, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Colquhoun and Anna Maria Eliot, on 13 October 1906.1 He died on 27 April 1926 at age 53.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Clayton, of Marden, co. Surrey [G.B., 1732] on 26 September 1925.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Clayton East, of Hall Place, Berkshire [U.K., 1838] on 26 September 1925.1

James Colquhoun and Anna Maria Eliot.2 She married Sir George Frederick Lancelot Clayton East, 4th/8th Bt., son of Sir Gilbert Augustus Clayton East, 3rd/7th Bt. and Eleanor Theresa Fraser, on 13 October 1906.1 She died on 29 January 1950.1
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.1 From 13 October 1906, her married name became Clayton East.

     Sir Robert Alan Clayton-East-Clayton, 5th/9th Bt. was born on 7 April 1908.1 He was the son of Sir George Frederick Lancelot Clayton East, 4th/8th Bt. and Frances Louise Helen Colquhoun.2 He married Dorothy Mary Durrant, daughter of Reverend Arthur Durrant, on 29 February 1932.1 He died on 1 September 1932 at age 24, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Robert Alan Clayton East at birth.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Clayton, of Marden, co. Surrey [G.B., 1732] on 27 April 1926.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Clayton East, of Hall Place, Berkshire [U.K., 1838] on 27 April 1926.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 On 22 January 1932 his name was legally changed to Robert Alan Clayton-East-Clayton by Deed Poll.1 On his death, his 1838 baronetcy became extinct.1
