     Catherine Arthur was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Rt. Hon. Sir George Arthur, 1st Bt. and Eliza Ord Ussher Smith.¹ She married Sir Henry Bartle Frere, 1st Bt., son of Edward Frere and Frances Mary Anne Greene, on 10 October 1844.¹ She died on 9 April 1899.¹
     From 10 October 1844, her married name became Frere.¹

     Frances Mary Anne Greene married Edward Frere, son of John Frere and Jane Hookham, on 28 July 1800.¹ She died on 10 January 1846.¹
     From 28 July 1800, her married name became Frere.¹

     Anne Elizabeth Lambert is the daughter of John Lambert.² She married James Chisholm Gooden-Chisholm, son of James Gooden and Mary Chisholm, in 1851.¹

     Chisholm Gooden-Chisholm was born on 27 September 1856.¹ He was the son of James Chisholm Gooden-Chisholm and Anne Elizabeth Lambert.² He married Gertrude Mary Dyer, daughter of Samuel Dyer, in 1902.¹ He died on 10 December 1929 at age 73, without issue.¹
     He lived at Vann House, Ockley, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Roderick Chisholm of Chisholm was born on 30 January 1864.¹ He was the son of James Chisholm Gooden-Chisholm and Anne Elizabeth Lambert.² He married Margaret Chisholm Fraser, daughter of Colonel William Fraser, 13th of Cubokie and Guisachan, on 12 July 1893.¹ He died on 14 June 1943 at age 79.¹
     He was given the name of Roderick Gooden-Chisholm at birth.¹ He was educated at Brighton College, Brighton, Sussex, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Seaforth Highlanders.¹ On 29 March 1938 his name was legally changed to Roderick Chisholm of Chisholm.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 29 March 1938.¹

     Susanna Hatley married Sheppard Frere on 22 June 1739.¹ She died on 30 November 1779.¹
     From 22 June 1739, her married name became Frere.¹

     Samuel Dyer lived at Great Bookham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Gertrude Mary Dyer was the daughter of Samuel Dyer.² She married Chisholm Gooden-Chisholm, son of James Chisholm Gooden-Chisholm and Anne Elizabeth Lambert, in 1902.¹
     From 1902, her married name became Gooden-Chisholm.¹

     Reverend Temple Frere was born on 16 May 1781.¹ He was the son of John Frere and Jane Hookham.² He married Jane Richards, daughter of Sir Richard Richards, on 16 April 1816.¹ He died on 7 July 1859 at age 78.¹
