     Alexander Douglas of Baads was born in 1731.¹ He was the son of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston.² He married Elizabeth Taylor on 26 September 1765.¹ He died in 1787.¹
     In 1787 he bought the estate of Baads.¹

     Elizabeth Douglas was the daughter of Isobel Douglas.² She died in 1873, unmarried.¹
     In 1852 she succeeded to Baads on the death of her brother.¹

     Sir John Fenn was born in 1739.² He married Ellenor Frere, daughter of Sheppard Frere and Susanna Hatley, on 1 January 1766.¹ He died in 1794.¹
     He was editor of the Paston Letters.²

     Edward Frere was born on 16 September 1770.³ He was the son of John Frere and Jane Hookham.¹ He married Frances Mary Anne Greene on 28 July 1800.³ He died on 5 March 1844 at age 73.³

     Sir Henry Bartle Frere, 1st Bt. was born on 29 March 1815.¹ He was the son of Edward Frere and Frances Mary Anne Greene.^2,1 He married Catherine Arthur, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Rt. Hon. Sir George Arthur, 1st Bt. and Eliza Ord Ussher Smith, on 10 October 1844.¹ He died on 29 May 1884 at age 69.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Frere [U.K.] on 24 May 1876.

     Jean Douglas was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston.² She married Aretas Akers, son of Edmund Akers and Sarah Seton, on 4 December 1752.¹ She died on 11 January 1769.¹
     She was the Minister at East Calder, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ From 4 December 1752, her married name became Akers.

     Aretas Akers was born in 1734.¹ He was the son of Edmund Akers and Sarah Seton.² He married Jean Douglas, daughter of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston, on 4 December 1752.¹ He died in 1785.¹

     Isobel Douglas was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Douglas and Isabel Houston.² She married, firstly, Sir James Douglas.¹ She married, secondly, John Walcot after 1795.¹ She died in 1817.¹
     From after 1795, her married name became Walcot.
