     Brigadier Robert Hugh Bellamy was born on 8 December 1910.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Bellamy and Constance Gwendoline Borton.3,4 He married Kathleen Louisa Isabel Lascelles, daughter of Sir Alfred George Lascelles and Isabel Carteret Thynne, on 11 October 1940.3 He and Kathleen Louisa Isabel Lascelles were divorced in 1953.3 He died on 27 November 1972 at age 61.3
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 28 August 1930 in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 28 August 1933.2 He gained the rank of Captain on 28 August 1938.2 He fought in the Second World War.3 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) Walter David Alexander Lentaigne, son of Benjamin Plunkett Lentaigne, on 3 February 1948.1 She married, secondly, Gerald MacLean, son of Montague Francis Maclean, on 18 July 1959.1 She died on 11 November 1968 at age 51.1
     From 3 February 1948, her married name became Lentaigne. From 18 July 1959, her married name became MacLean.
