     Sir Alexander Maxwell, 2nd Bt. was born at Monreith, Wigtownshire, Scotland.3 He was the son of Sir William Maxwell, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hay.2 He married Lady Jean Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Margaret Cochrane, on 29 December 1711.1 He died on 23 May 1730.
     Sir Alexander Maxwell, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Maxwell, of Monreith, co. Wigton [N.S., 1681] in April 1709.2

     Lt.-Gen. Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 3rd Bt. was born on 1 August 1700.1 He was the son of Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Baird.2 He married Lady Mary Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Ann Gordon, in May 1731.3 He died on 10 October 1767 at age 67.1
     Lt.-Gen. Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Cunynghame, of Milncraig, co. Ayr [N.S., 1702] on 1 February 1747.1 He was Colonel of the 57th Regiment in 1757.1

     Francis Stuart, 7th Earl of Moray was the son of Alexander Stuart, 5th Earl of Moray and Emilia Balfour. He married Jean Elphinstone, daughter of John Elphinstone, 4th Lord Balmerinoch and Lady Christiana Montgomerie, in 1700.1 He died on 11 December 1739.
     Francis Stuart, 7th Earl of Moray gained the title of 7th Earl of Moray.

     From 24 April 1739, her married name became Macdonald.1
