     Captain William Wells married Lady Elizabeth Proby, daughter of John Joshua Proby, 1st Earl of Carysfort and Elizabeth Grenville, on 2 February 1816.2 He died on 13 August 1826.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.2 He lived at Holme Wood House, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England.1
