     John Douglas was born on 6 March 1828. He was the son of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell. He married, firstly, Mary Simpson, daughter of Reverend J. Simpson, in January 1861. He married, secondly, Sarah Hickey, daughter of Michael Hickey and Margaret Coffee, in 1877. He died on 23 July 1904 at age 76.
     He held the office of Premier of Queensland.

     Edward Octavious Douglas was born on 19 September 1830. He was the son of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell. He married Hannah Charlotte Scott-Douglas, daughter of Sir John James Scott-Douglas, 3rd Bt., on 3 November 1859. He died on 9 March 1890 at age 59.
     He lived at Killichassie, Perthshire, Scotland.

     Hannah Charlotte Scott-Douglas was the daughter of Sir John James Scott-Douglas, 3rd Bt. She married Edward Octavious Douglas, son of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell, on 3 November 1859. She died on 27 April 1921.
      Her married name became Douglas.

     Sir John James Scott-Douglas, 3rd Bt. is the son of Sir George Douglas, 2nd Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Boyle.
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Douglas, of Springwood Park.

     Eliza Douglas was the daughter of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell. She married John Campbell Shairp on 23 June 1853. She died on 25 May 1903.
      Her married name became Shairp.

     John Campbell Shairp married Eliza Douglas, daughter of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell, on 23 June 1853. He died on 18 August 1886.

     Mary Simpson was the daughter of Reverend J. Simpson. She married John Douglas, son of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell, in January 1861. She died on 23 November 1876.
      Her married name became Douglas.

     Rosemary Kathleen Gore was born on 20 August 1924.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Henry Gore and Hon. Violet Katherine Annesley.¹ She married Arthur Emerson Mabin, son of Edward Ernest Bayley Mabin, on 3 May 1945.¹
     She was in the Women's Royal Naval Service.¹ From 3 May 1945, her married name became Mabin.¹

     Sarah Hickey was born in March 1844.¹ She was the daughter of Michael Hickey and Margaret Coffee.¹ She was baptised on 25 March 1844 at Roman Catholic Church, Cratloe, Kilfintian, Ireland.¹ She married John Douglas, son of Henry Alexander Douglas and Elizabeth Dalzell, in 1877. She died on 19 March 1931 at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.¹
      Her married name became Douglas.
