Violet Katherine Annesley was born on 18 March 1882.2 She was the daughter of Arthur Annesley, 11th Viscount Valentia and Laura Sarah Webb.1 She married Charles Henry Gore, son of Sir Francis Charles Gore and Constance Mary Bruce, on 15 April 1920.2 She died on 4 September 1963 at age 81.2
      From 15 April 1920, her married name became Gore.1

      Her married name became Wright. She was with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force during the Second World War, where she was mentioned in despatches twice.1

     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.1 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Ethiopia.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1946.1 He held the office of Consul-General to Ethiopia between 1948 and 1949.1 He held the office of Ambassador Extraordinary to Ethiopia between 1949 and 1951.1 He held the office of Consul-General and Plenipotentiary to Afghanistan in 1953.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1954.1
