Violet Katherine Annesley was born on 18 March 1882.2 She was the daughter of Arthur Annesley, 11th Viscount Valentia and Laura Sarah Webb.1 She married Charles Henry Gore, son of Sir Francis Charles Gore and Constance Mary Bruce, on 15 April 1920.2 She died on 4 September 1963 at age 81.2
      From 15 April 1920, her married name became Gore.1
