Sir Faithful Fortescue was the son of John Fortescue and Susanna Chichester.1 He married Hon. Anne Moore, daughter of Garret Moore, 1st Viscount Moore of Drogheda.1 He died in 1666.1
He was invested as a Knight.1 He was granted extensive lands in Counties Louth, Down and Antrim.1 He went to Ireland at the beginning of King James I's reign.1 He fought in the Englsih Civil War, as a Royalist.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to King Charles II.1
