     Lucy Dalley was the daughter of John Dalley.2 She married George Joachim Goschen, 1st Viscount Goschen, son of Wilhelm Heinrich Goschen and Henrietta Ohmann, on 22 September 1857.1 She died on 21 February 1898.1
     From 22 September 1857, her married name became Goschen.

     Hon. George Joachim Goschen was born on 18 November 1893.1 He was the son of George Joachim Goschen, 2nd Viscount Goschen and Lady Margaret Evelyn Gathorne-Hardy.2 He died on 16 January 1916 at age 22 at Kut-al-Amara, Iraq, from wounds received in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 5th Battalion, East Kent Regiment.1

Sir Bertram Percy Portal and Hon. Margaret Louisa Littleton, on 27 November 1926.2 She died in 1980.2
     From 27 November 1926, her married name became Portal.2

     Major Melville Edward Bertram Portal was born on 1 June 1900.2 He is the son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Bertram Percy Portal and Hon. Margaret Louisa Littleton.2 He married Hon. Cicely Winifred Goschen, daughter of George Joachim Goschen, 2nd Viscount Goschen and Lady Margaret Evelyn Gathorne-Hardy, on 27 November 1926.2 He died in 1971.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He was Commander of the 17th Lancers in 1921.2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to his father-in-law the Governor of Madras between 1924 and 1929.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1927 in the service of the Coldstream Guards.2 He held the office of Viceroy and Acting Governor-General of India in 1929.2 Between 1935 and 1945 seconded by the Royal Malay Regiment.2 He was a prisoner between 1942 and 1945 at Changi Prison, Changi, Singapore.2 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.2 He held the office of Queen's Messenger between 1951 and 1961.2

     Hon. Sir William Henry Goschen was born on 7 June 1870.1 He was the son of George Joachim Goschen, 1st Viscount Goschen and Lucy Dalley.2 He married Geraldine Elizabeth Mellor, daughter of Rt. Rev. John William Mellor, on 25 July 1896.1 He died on 16 June 1943 at age 73.1
     He was invested as a Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He was Commissioner of Public Works Loan Board.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He was partner of Goschen & Cunliffe.1
