     He fought in the Battle of Beaugré on 22 March 1421, on the French side, where he is supposed to killed the Duke of Clarence.1

     Hugh Somerville, 6th Lord Somerville was born circa 1539.2 He was the son of James Somerville, 5th Lord Somerville and Agnes Hamilton.3 He married Eleanor Seton, daughter of George Seton, 4th Lord Seton and Elizabeth Hay.4 He died in 1597.4
     He succeeded as the 6th Lord Somerville [S., 1444] in 1569.3
