     Margaret Oliphant was the daughter of Sir William Oliphant of Newton.1 She married David Carmichael, 7th of Balmedie, Craigpottie and Whelphill, son of James Carmichael, 6th of Balmedie, Craigpottie, Kirkdrum and Whelphill and Jean Carnegie, before 1621. She died on 15 September 1621.1
     Margaret Oliphant was also known as Jean.1 From before 1621, her married name became Carmichael.1

Michael David Sieff and Daphne Madge Kerin Michael.2,3 He married, firstly, Nicole Moschietto, daughter of Francis Moschietto, on 26 May 1959.2 He married, secondly, Angela Pringle, daughter of Brigadier Douglas Pringle, on 6 April 1966.2 He and Angela Pringle were divorced.2 He married, thirdly, Candy Seymour-Smith in 1986.2 He and Nicole Moschietto were divorced in 1966.2
