James Robert Campbell was born on 24 May 1822.1 He was the son of Sir Duncan Campbell of Barcaldine, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dreghorn Dennistoun.2 He died on 15 May 1843 at age 20.1

John Peter William Campbell was born on 18 March 1824.1 He was the son of Sir Duncan Campbell of Barcaldine, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dreghorn Dennistoun.2 He married, firstly, Frances Charlotte Begbie, daughter of Alfred William Begbie and Margaret Anna Grant, on 14 October 1847 at Landour, Bengal, India.1,3 He married, secondly, Louisa Campbell, daughter of Alexander Campbell of Monzie and Christina Cameron, on 10 August 1875.2 He died on 30 October 1901 at age 77.2
