     Nicole Noel Ann Olson Grant-Suttie was born on 7 June 1984.^1,2 She is the daughter of L. Olson and Susan Ann Grant-Suttie.¹

     Constance Sophia Louisa Hampden was the daughter of John Hampden.² She married James Inskip, son of Thomas Flint Inskip and Louisa Bowman, on 25 April 1872.¹ She died on 1 February 1914.¹
      From 25 April 1872, her married name became Inskip.

     L. Olson married Susan Ann Grant-Suttie, daughter of Robert Philip Herold McGee and Ann Grant-Suttie.

     Sir John Hampden Inskip was born on 16 December 1879.¹ He was the son of James Inskip and Constance Sophia Louisa Hampden.² He married Hon. Janet Maclay, daughter of Joseph Paton Maclay, 1st Baron Maclay and Martha Strang, on 18 April 1923.¹ He died on 8 April 1960 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He was a practising solicitor.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force.¹ He was a director of Western Newspapers and Bristol United Press.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of Bristol in 1931.¹ He held the office of Alderman of Bristol in 1932.¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1937.¹

     Joseph Paton Maclay, 1st Baron Maclay was born on 6 September 1857.² He was the son of Ebenezer Maclay and Janet Paton.³ He married Martha Strang, daughter of William Strang, on 18 April 1889.² He died on 24 April 1951 at age 93.²
     He was County Lanark (both UK).² He lived Glasgow.² He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (Glasgow).² He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) (Glasgow and Renfrews).² He gained the title of 1st Baron Maclay. And 1st Baron Maclay.² On 20 July 1914 so created and 21 Nov 1922 respectively.² He was ptnr Maclay and MacIntyre (Glasgow shipowners), Minister Shipping and Memb War Cabinet (the historian John Grigg (see ALTRINCHAM, B) has recently argued that this appointment was perhaps the most vital of all those Lloyd-George made on becoming PM in 1916.² He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1916.² He was Freeman Glasgow , Honour Doctor of Law (LL.D.) Glasgow U in 1922.²

     Hon. Janet Maclay was born on 3 March 1897.² She was the daughter of Joseph Paton Maclay, 1st Baron Maclay and Martha Strang.³ She married Sir John Hampden Inskip, son of James Inskip and Constance Sophia Louisa Hampden, on 18 April 1923.¹ She died on 4 April 1974 at age 77.¹
     She was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (Bristol).² From 18 April 1923, her married name became Inskip.

     John Hampden Inskip was born on 1 February 1924.¹ He is the son of Sir John Hampden Inskip and Hon. Janet Maclay.² He married Ann Howell Davies, daughter of Lt.-Col. Owen Stanley Davies, on 26 June 1947.¹
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with the Scots Guards.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1949 entitled to practice as a barrister.¹ He was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1966.¹ He was deputy chairman of Hampshire Quarter Sessions in 1967.¹ He held the office of Master of the Bench in 1975.¹

     Lt.-Col. Owen Stanley Davies was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).¹

     Ann Howell Davies is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Owen Stanley Davies.² She married John Hampden Inskip, son of Sir John Hampden Inskip and Hon. Janet Maclay, on 26 June 1947.¹
      From 26 June 1947, her married name became Inskip.
