     Rosanna Johnston was the daughter of Hugh Johnston.2 She married William Cairns, son of Nathan Cairns and Margaret Keine, in 1806.1 She died in 1822.1
     From 1806, her married name became Cairns.

     Nathan Daniel Cairns was born in 1807.1 He was the son of William Cairns and Rosanna Johnston.2 He married Mary Miller, daughter of Thomas Miller, in 1839.1 He died in 1844.1
     He lived at Parkmount, County Antrim, IrelandG.3
     He also had two other daughters.1

     William MacNeile Cairns was born in 1843.1 He was the son of Nathan Daniel Cairns and Mary Miller.2 He married Josephine Percy Bushe, daughter of Reverend Charles Bushe and Emmeline Katherine Egerton Coghill, on 1 July 1873.1 He died on 29 January 1913.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 43rd Light Infantry.1

     William Henry Hornby was born on 2 July 1805.1 He was the son of John Hornby and Alice Backhouse.1 He married Margaret Susannah Birley, daughter of Edward Birley, on 19 May 1831.1 He died on 4 September 1884 at age 79.3
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)3 He held the office of Mayor of Blackburn.3 He was owner of the Brookhouse Cotton Mills.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Blackburn, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Blackburn between 1857 and 1869.3
