     Philip Olaf Buxton was born on 22 May 1906.1 He was the son of Hugh Forster Buxton and Blanche Juliana St. Aubyn.2 He married Ruth Christian Lawrence, daughter of Aubrey Trevor Lawrence, on 15 December 1934.1 He died in 1978.1
     Philip Olaf Buxton was with the Kassala Cotton Company between 1930 and 1946.1 He was vice-chairman of the Witney Regional District Council, and chairman from 1965 in 1963.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire in 1965.1
