     Thomas Weston Peel Long Chaloner, 2nd Baron Gisborough was born on 6 May 1889 at Sedgehill, Wiltshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Richard Godolphin Walmesley Chaloner, 1st Baron Gisborough and Margaret Brocklesby Davis.1 He married Esther Isabella Madeleine Hall, daughter of Charles Oswin Hall, on 7 November 1923 at Settrington Church, Malton, Yorkshire, England.1,2 He died on 11 February 1951 at age 61 at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, North Riding, England.1,2
     Thomas Weston Peel Long Chaloner, 2nd Baron Gisborough graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 4th Battalion, Green Howards.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Captain in the service of the Royal Flying Corps.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Captain in the service of the Royal Air Force.1 He was decorated with the award of Territorial Decoration (T.D.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Gisborough, of Cleveland, co.
