     Brigadier Henry Balfour Scott was born in 1907.1 He was the son of James Henry Scott.2 He married Joyce Mabel Cooper, daughter of Sir William George Daniel Cooper, 4th Bt. and Hon. Letttice Margaret Long, on 12 July 1932 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 He died on 24 January 1955.3
     Brigadier Henry Balfour Scott gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Dragoons.3 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1
