     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1946 in the service of the Welsh Guards.3 He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.3 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Gisborough, of Cleveland, co. York [U.K., 1917] on 11 February 1951.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1955 in the service of the Northumberland Hussars.3 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Green Howards between 1967 and 1969.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cleveland in 1973.3 He was invested as a Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1981.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cleveland between 1981 and 1996.3 He held the office of Lieutenant of North Yorkshire between 1996 and 2001.3

Angela Mary Chaloner was born on 5 April 1925.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Weston Peel Long Chaloner, 2nd Baron Gisborough and Esther Isabella Madeleine Hall.1 She was baptised on 14 May 1925 at St. James Church, Piccadilly, London, England.2 She married Major Roderick Edward Faure Walker, son of Henry Faure Walker, on 27 November 1946 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 She and Major Roderick Edward Faure Walker were divorced in 1973.1 She died on 11 March 2003 at age 77.2 She was buried on 18 March 2003 at St. Margaret's Church, Ditchling, Sussex, ENgland.2
      From 27 November 1946, her married name became Faure Walker.1

     Major Roderick Edward Faure Walker was born on 2 January 1914.2 He was the son of Henry Faure Walker.1 He married Hon. Angela Mary Chaloner, daughter of Thomas Weston Peel Long Chaloner, 2nd Baron Gisborough and Esther Isabella Madeleine Hall, on 27 November 1946 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 He and Hon. Angela Mary Chaloner were divorced in 1973.1 He died on 14 May 2002 at age 88.2
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1
