Major William Dugald Stuart was born on 18 October 1860.1 He was the son of William Stuart and Katherine Nicholson.1 He married Millicent Helen Olivia Hughes, daughter of Captain George William Bulkeley Hughes and Millicent Georgina Montague Dobbs, on 11 July 1893.1 He died on 2 April 1922 at age 61.1
