     Sir Henry Longe was born in 1489 at Wiltshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Longe and Margery Darrell.1 He married, firstly, Jane Hungerford.1 He married, secondly, Eleanor Wrottesley before 1516.1 He died in 1556 at Wiltshire, England.1 He was buried at Draycot, Wiltshire, England.1 His will was probated on 21 October 1556.1
     Sir Henry Longe held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1512.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1526.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1537.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Somerset in 1538.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Dorset in 1539.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1542.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wiltshire from 1552 to 1553.1
