     Sir Richard Longe was born in 1474 at Wiltshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Longe and Margery Darrell.1 He married Margaret Donnington in 1541.1 He died on 29 September 1546.1 His will was probated on 23 October 1546.1
     Sir Richard Longe held the office of Governor of Guernsey.1 He held the office of Governor of Hull between October 1541 and 1545.1
