     James Baillie was born in 1737.1 He was the son of Hugh Baillie of Dochfour and Emilia Fraser.1 He married Colin Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell of Glenure and Janet Mackay.1 He died on 7 September 1793.1
     James Baillie held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 He lived at Ealing Grove, Middlesex, England.1
     He was ancestor of the Baillies of Glenure House, Gloucestershire, and the Baillies of Filleigh, Devon.1
