     Sir Francis Burdett, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 August 1675.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Burdett, 1st Bt. and Frances Stephenson.1 He was baptised on 21 August 1675 at Darton, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Wyndham, daughter of Charles Wyndham, on 31 July 1710 at Charter House Chapel, London, EnglandG.2 He married, secondly, unknown wife (?) before 1741 at York, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He died circa September 1747.1 He was buried on 11 September 1747 at Rothwell, Leeds, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Burdett, of Birthwaite, co. York [E., 1665] circa 1719.1
