Elizabeth Wyndham1

     Elizabeth Wyndham was the daughter of Charles Wyndham.1 She married, firstly, William Barnham, son of William Barnham, before 1710.1 She married, secondly, Sir Francis Burdett, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Francis Burdett, 1st Bt. and Frances Stephenson, on 31 July 1710 at Charter House Chapel, London, EnglandG.2 She died in 1758.3
     From before 1710, her married name became Barnham.1 From 31 July 1710, her married name became Burdett.

     Reverend Sir Hugh Burdett, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 November 1715 at Fulham Green, Fulham, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Sir Francis Burdett, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Wyndham.1 He married Mary (?)2 He died on 8 September 1760 at age 44, without issue.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 9 October 1760.2
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.2 He matriculated at Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1734.2 He graduated from Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1738 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was the Incumbant between 1740 and 1742 at Wotton Underwood, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.2 He was the Rector between 1742 and 1760 at Newington, Kent, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Burdett, of Birthwaite, co. York [E., 1665] in September 1747.1

     Sir Charles Burdett, 4th Bt. was born on 22 May 1728.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Burdett, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Wyndham.1 He was baptised on 10 June 1728 at Chelsea, London, EnglandG.2 He married, firstly, Jane Harrison, daughter of John Harrison, on 29 November 1756.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Halsey, daughter of Joseph Halsey and Anne Lloyd, on 26 September 1770 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, U.S.A.G.2 He died on 19 July 1803 at age 75.1 He was buried on 24 July 1803 at Paddington, London, EnglandG.2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Burdett, of Birthwaite, co. York [E., 1665] on 8 September 1760.1 He was Collector of Customs at St. Augustine, Florida, U.S.A.G.2

     Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Wyndham Burdett, 5th Bt. was born on 19 July 1771.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Burdett, 4th Bt. and Sarah Halsey.2 He was baptised on 17 August 1771 at St. Augustine, Florida, U.S.A.G.3 He died in December 1839 at age 68 at Colombo, Sri LankaG, unmarried.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered in June 1840.3
     He gained the rank of Major in the 56th Foot.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Burdett, of Birthwaite, co. York [E., 1665] on 19 July 1803.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)3

     Major George Saville Burdett was born on 18 August 1774.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Burdett, 4th Bt. and Sarah Halsey.1 He married Sophia Wilkins, daughter of unknown Wilkins.1 He died on 21 October 1817 at age 43 at St. LuciaG, when their barracks collapsed during a hurricane.1
