     George Keith Erskine was born on 19 February 1809.1 He was the son of David Erskine and Hon. Keith Elphinstone.2 He married Selina Chambers, daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown Chambers, in 1837.1 He died on 12 January 1849 at age 39.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Bombay Light Cavalry.1

     Selina Chambers was the daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown Chambers.2 She married George Keith Erskine, son of David Erskine and Hon. Keith Elphinstone, in 1837.1 She died on 14 April 1875.1
     From 1837, her married name became Erskine.

Maj.-Gen. George Elphinstone Erskine1

     Maj.-Gen. George Elphinstone Erskine was born on 20 January 1841.1 He was the son of George Keith Erskine and Selina Chambers.2 He married, firstly, Blanche Cates, daughter of George Cates and Harriet Nethersole, on 26 September 1861.1 He married, secondly, Eva Constance Sarah Edwards, daughter of Canon Ebenezer Wood Edwards, on 3 July 1895.1 He died on 12 September 1912 at age 71.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Bombay Cavalry, Indian Army.1

     Lt.-Col. Keith Erskine was born on 12 June 1863.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Elphinstone Erskine and Blanche Cates.2 He married Mabel Seabrook Dyson, daughter of John Dyson, on 3 November 1892.1 He died on 19 October 1914 at age 51, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1900 in the Indian Army.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)1 He held the office of Consul-General to Baghdad in 1914.2

     Charles Ellis Hay Erskine was born on 24 June 1866.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Elphinstone Erskine and Blanche Cates.2 He married Gertrude de Bary Saunders, daughter of Gilbert Saunders, on 19 November 1897.1 He died on 3 October 1902 at age 36, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Staff Corps.1
