Major Robert Nevill Cobbold was born on 10 June 1904 at Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.2 He was the son of Philip Wyndham Cobbold and Cicely Augusta Nevill.3 He married Patricia Mary Adela Gibson-Watt, daughter of Major James Miller Gibson-Watt and Marjorie Adela Ricardo, on 24 October 1935.1 He died in June 1944, killed in action.1,3

Patrick A'Hannay of Kirkdale was the son of Patrick A'Hannay of Kirkdale and Anne McKie.2,3 He married Agnes Dunbar, daughter of Gavin Dunbar of Baldoon and Janet Cunningham.3 He died in 1640.3
