     Neil Malcolm, 13th of Poltalloch was born on 5 November 1797.² He was the son of Neil Malcolm, 12th of Poltalloch and Mary Anne Orme.² He married, firstly, Harriet Mary Clarke-Jervoise, daughter of Sir Samuel Clarke-Jervoise, 1st Bt., on 14 July 1831.² He married, secondly, Louisa Shirley, daughter of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope, on 2 September 1843.¹ He died on 2 October 1857 at age 59.¹
