     He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1996.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Oxfordshire in 1998.³ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire in 1999.³ He lived in 2003 at Grove Farmhouse, Shipton-under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Ralph Henry Scrope was born on 3 January 1905.³ He is the son of Henry Aloysius Scrope and Maria Mercedes de Laski.³ He married Lady Beatrice Anne Savile, daughter of John Henry Savile, 6th Earl of Mexborough of Lifford and Hon. Margaret Eva de Burgh Knatchbull-Hugessen, on 14 June 1934.⁴
     He lived at South Thorpe, Barnard Castle, County Durham, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹

     Mary Anne Scrope is the daughter of Ralph Henry Scrope and Lady Beatrice Anne Savile.² She married Malcolm Ralph Cochrane, son of Air Chief Marshal Hon. Sir Ralph Alexander Cochrane and Hilda Frances Holme Wiggin, on 5 August 1972.¹
      From 5 August 1972, her married name became Cochrane.¹

     William Ralph Cochrane was born in 1974.¹ He is the son of Malcolm Ralph Cochrane and Mary Anne Scrope.²

      From 21 May 1953, her married name became Stewart. She lived in 2003 at Arndean, Dollar, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.¹

     Major Alexander Caldwell Stewart is the son of Sir Robert King Stewart of Murdostoun. He married Florence Hamilton Lighton, daughter of Sir Christopher Robert Lighton, 7th Bt. and Helen Frances Houldsworth, on 25 October 1923.²

     Colonel Sir Robert Christie Stewart is the son of Major Alexander Caldwell Stewart and Florence Hamilton Lighton.^2,3 He married Ann Grizel Cochrane, daughter of Air Chief Marshal Hon. Sir Ralph Alexander Cochrane and Hilda Frances Holme Wiggin, on 21 May 1953.¹
     He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).¹ He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant for Kinross-shire between 1966 and 1974.³
