     John Somers, 1st Baron Somers of Evesham was born on 4 March 1650/51 at White Ladies, Worcester, Worcestershire, EnglandG.3 He was the son of John Somers.1 He died on 26 April 1716 at age 65, unmarried.4
     He gained the title of 1st Baron Somers of Evesham. He held the office of Solicitor-General between 1680 and 1692.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Worcester between 1689 and 1693.4 He held the office of Attorney-General from 1692 to 1693.4 He held the office of Lord Chancellor between 1697 and 1700.4 He held the office of Lord President of the Council between 1708 and 1710.4

     Richard Robartes, 1st Baron Robartes of Truro was born in 1580.1 He was the son of John Robartes and Philippa Gaverigan.1 He married Frances Hender, daughter of John Hender and Jane Thorne, circa 5 January 1598.1 He died on 19 April 1634.1
     He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1616. He was created 1st Baronet Robartes in 1621. He was created 1st Baron Robartes of Truro in 1625.

     Frances Hender was the daughter of John Hender and Jane Thorne.1,3 She married Richard Robartes, 1st Baron Robartes of Truro, son of John Robartes and Philippa Gaverigan, circa 5 January 1598.3 She died circa August 1626.3
     From circa 5 January 1598, her married name became Robartes.3
