Oliver Lambart, 1st Lord Lambart, Baron of Cavan was the son of Walter Lambart and Rose Wallop.1 He married Hester Fleetwood, daughter of Sir William Fleetwood and Jane Clifton, before 3 January 1598/99.1 He died between 1 June 1618 and 10 June 1618 at London, England.1 He was buried on 10 June 1618 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.2,1 His will was probated on 15 June 1618.1
Oliver Lambart, 1st Lord Lambart, Baron of Cavan was invested as a Knight in June 1596 at the storming of Cadiz.2,1 He was an officer under the Earl of Essex in Ireland.2 He was Master of the Camp in 1599.2 He was commander of the 200 Foot at Enniscorthy, County Wexford.2
He gained the rank of Sergeant-Major of the Army.2 He held the office of Governor of Connaught in 1601.2 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1603.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan between 1613 and 1615.2 He was created 1st Lord Lambart, Baron of Cavan, co. Cavan [Ireland] on 17 February 1617/18.1
He also had two other daughters.2

Walter Lambart was the son of Richard Lambert and unknown Burton.2 He married Margaret Gaynsford, daughter of Robert Gaynsford, before 1 December 1516.3 He died between 11 September 1545 and 17 September 1545.1 His will (dated 11 September 1545) was probated on 17 September 1545.1

Hester Fleetwood was the daughter of Sir William Fleetwood and Jane Clifton.1 She married Oliver Lambart, 1st Lord Lambart, Baron of Cavan, son of Walter Lambart and Rose Wallop, before 3 January 1598/99.1 She died on 12 March 1639.2 She was buried at St. Patrick's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
