Rev. Sir George Boughey, 5th Bt. was born on 2 May 1837.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fletcher Fenton Boughey, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Paulina Charlotte Giffard.1 He married Theodosia Mary Royds, daughter of Reverend Charles Smith Royds, on 25 April 1875.1 He died on 4 August 1910 at age 73.2
He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector between 1863 and 1908 at Forton, Newport, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Fletcher, of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Betley Court, co. Stafford [G.B., 1798] on 30 August 1906.1
