     Hon. Gerald Spencer Clegg-Hill was born on 4 March 1879 at Hawkstone Hall, Hodnet, Shropshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Rowland Clegg-Hill, 3rd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke and Hon. Isabella Elizabeth Wynn.2 He married Dorothy Boughey, daughter of Rev. Sir George Boughey, 5th Bt. and Theodosia Mary Royds, on 3 April 1907.1 He died on 4 April 1930 at age 51.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the North Staffordshire Regiment.3 He fought in the First World War.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.3

Sir William Fletcher Boughey, 6th Bt. was born on 3 September 1840.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fletcher Fenton Boughey, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Paulina Charlotte Giffard.1 He married Mary Ann Gundry Pearce, daughter of Richard Pearce, on 1 August 1891.1 He died on 17 April 1912 at age 71, without issue.1
     He fought in the New Zealand Wars in 1863.1 He fought in the Abyssinian War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Fletcher, of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Betley Court, co. Stafford [G.B., 1798] on 4 August 1910.1

     Mary Ann Gundry Pearce is the daughter of Richard Pearce.1 She married Cdr. Sir William Fletcher Boughey, 6th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Fletcher Fenton Boughey, 3rd Bt. and Louisa Paulina Charlotte Giffard, on 1 August 1891.1
     From 1 August 1891, her married name became Boughey.1
