Captain Edward Henry Mostyn was born on 14 January 1813.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt. and Frances Blundell.1,2 He married Anastasia Elizabeth Boughey, daughter of Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode, on 16 May 1848.1 He died on 23 February 1895 at age 82.2

Anastasia Elizabeth Boughey was the daughter of Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode.1 She married, firstly, Edward Joseph Smythe, son of Sir Edward Joseph Smythe, 6th Bt., on 28 April 1840.1 She married, secondly, Captain Edward Henry Mostyn, son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt. and Frances Blundell, on 16 May 1848.1 She died on 23 November 1893.1

Sir John Fenton Boughey, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 May 1784.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fletcher, 1st Bt. and Anne Fenton.2,1 He married Henrietta Dorothy Chetwode, daughter of Sir John Chetwode, 4th Bt. and Lady Henrietta Grey, on 9 February 1808.1 He died on 27 June 1823 at age 39.1
He was given the name of John Fenton Fletcher at birth.1 He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 3 May 1803.1 On 16 May 1805 his name was legally changed to John Fenton Boughey by Royal License.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1812.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fletcher, of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Betley Court, co. Stafford [G.B., 1798] on 14 July 1812.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the North Staffordshire Militia.1 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Staffordshire between 1820 and 1823.1

Sir Edward Smythe, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir John Smythe, 3rd Bt. and Constantia Blount. He married Maria Giffard, daughter of Peter Giffard, 20th of Chillington and Barbara Throckmorton. He married Mary Clifford, daughter of Hugh Clifford, 3rd Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Elizabeth Blount, on 14 April 1766.1 He died on 2 November 1784.2
