     Agnes Macdonald was born in 1843.1 She was the daughter of Reverend George Browne Macdonald and Hannah Jones.1 She married Sir Edward John Poynter, Bt., son of Ambrose Poynter and Emma Forster, in 1866.1 She died in 1906.1
     From 1866, her married name became Poynter.1
