     Sir Stephen Gerard Boreel, 14th Bt. was born on 9 February 1945.1 He is the son of Gerard Lucas Cornelius Boreel and Virginia Rae Bright.2 He married Francien P. Kooijman.1
     He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Boreel, of Amsterdam, in Holland [E., 1645] on 24 March 2001.1 He lived in 2003 at Elzenoord 30, Vaassen, The NetherlandsG.1

     He held the office of Envoy from the States General to England. He held the office of Councillor-Pensionary of Zeeland.1 He was appointed Knight in 1622 by King James I.1
